panameragirl Adam was running very late so he didn't bowl he just hung in the VIP bar area next to the lanes, signed one pic, fast pics. It was fast.

It has a very nice touch where we can get to see the outside and the inside of the venue at the beginning like a documentary film.

So I brought my sister with me, and she not much of a fan of most of his songs, but she did think it was entertaining. Anyways, my sister and I ate dinner at the Rio Grande and we had two Strawberry/Mango margaritas. After dinner we walk down towards the theatre (saw the buses a block away on Welton) and we browse thru Niketown for air conditioning. It was over 100 degrees out there. I should have worn a skirt. My sister wanted another drink, so we stopped by Coyote Ugly since some guy was giving out 2 for 1 drinks coupons. It was like empty in there and some bachelorette party walked in and the coyote ugly girls were trying to do body shots on the bachelorette and maid of honor. It was like 5 mins before show time so we headed over to the theatre.

My sister buys another beer for both of us. I am totally buzzed throughout Alli's set and most of the intermission. It was very loud in the theatre. Especially during Alli's set. She did Holiday, Beat Me Up, Still Breathing, No One Else, Scars (acoustic), Don't Waste the Pretty, Robot Love, Heartbreaker, and Friday I'll Be Over U. She sounded amazing. My sister thought that Alli has a great voice, but she isn't really a pop singer. She should be doing more of a Joss Stone type of singing. She wasn't a fan of RL and couldn't stand FIBOU and felt that it was too much sampling of other songs. We did have a couple of Alli fans in front of us, and they disappeared and never came back after intermission. So the older couple next to them took over there seats to get a better view. I didn't see much of the audience in the mezz and balcony standing up during Alli's set. It was amusing to see this gay guy get so excited during Alli's set, but he spent half the time running from his seat to talking to this lady like three rows in front of me. About 2/3 through the set I gave my drink to my sister and drank water from then on out, since I had to drive us back home.

So intermission felt very long and so we went to find restrooms. We ended up a different ones. I chatted up with this girl and she was panicking that Adam was about to start, but she noticed the monitors in the lobby area. She was surprised when I told her that Adam has a one hour set. I think she was expecting more than an hour from Adam.

Adam was amazing. I totally get what people say about his voice sounding higher live that on the records and videos. My sister was very surprised about the crowds screaming reaction to just putting his picture on the screen. I had a pretty good view and definitely enjoyed his set, but it felt very short. His set seriously goes by so fast even with the costume changes. We both enjoyed the dancers and I love the laser effects from the balcony perspective. My sister did notice how tall Adam is. He just commands the stage. Adam kept the hat on for ROF. Some of those images in the background are so lulzy. I think I saw high heels move across the screen, but I'm not sure. Those multiple eyes in Voodoo are really creepy. My sister was seriously impressed with his vocals on Soaked. She was telling me "it's like an opera." We both cracked up at the cane stroking during Strut. Loved the part where Adam and Brooke danced together. Crowd was definitely into that. Adam did say something about he can't breathe, but he can dance. My sister is a Yellowcard fan so she enjoyed LP's drumming. She also like the dancer solos and Monte's guitar solos. Saw about 5 people leave before the encores. Absolutely loved his rendition of WLL. It started out acoustic and finished it plugged in. On the way out, we saw some parents bring there 7 or 8 year old daughter to the concert. I also notice a sign in the merchandise table saying "Earplugs? Huh?" with earplugs attached to it.

I asked if my sister wanted to go to the buses to see if Adam was going to sign. She was like "Uh, no" and she really need to pee, so we hustled our way back up to Market St to the Pour House for her to have another drink and me water. Though it was funny that some guy was trying to sell my sister a mix cd of 90's music. He followed us for three blocks. LOL. Driving back we heard WWFM on Mix 100.3. My sister was like "He's everywhere."

So it's late and I have a huge headache from the 2 margaritas and 1 and a half beers. I really need to get some Advil and some rest. An Adam concert is exhausting. No pics or videos from me since I wanted to enjoy the concert.
