It’s 7:25am and we’re lined up at the Omni. Two ladies from Kentucky got here at 2am and are in their sleeping bags right at the door. Priceless. I give them credit….that’s hard core.

baebae…we’ve got snacks, chairs, and a boom box playing pre-Idol Adam. Perfect weather too….sunny and mild. Eleven more hours!! lol

We’re numbering our hands in order so we don’t have to worry about stepping out of line today. We’re on 53. I’m #12. The semi just arrived and one tour bus. We were just talking to a worker and he said the owner is nervous because this is such a big show. lol

If you attend a concert and have a public twitter on which you talk about this, the chances are high that you will be added to a twitter list and followed by fans who are interested in that concert. Twitter is public. This is simply the way twitter works. No one needs to ask your permission to add you to a list.

If you do not want to be added to a list, you can request to be taken off of it. HERE, we respect that and will remove you, but that certainly won't stop other fans from putting you on a list and/or following you. If you really do not want your twitter watched by fans online while you are at a show, the best way to deal with this is to make your twitter private while you attend the concert.

Finally, while we always hope that people are courteous to each other in every setting, the mods at hooplamagnet are in no way responsible for the way that other random fans behave on twitter. We can't mod twitter. If you are concerned about the attention garnered by being on a twitter list, the most reasonable option is to make your account private before going to a show.

Fans searched twitter for concert details long before twitter lists were invented. Not being on a twitter list doesn't mean that you won't attract attention from fans not at the show. Again, if this bothers you, your best option is to turn your account private, if only temporarily. This is the last time the mods at this community will address this because twitter drama is explicitly off-topic in our community.
