Am I the only one who prefers not to have purple for the unvisited links here?

What's wrong with the standard unvisited-blue/visited-purple set? Standard colors exist for reason I think.

And aren't the fonts too small?

It's a news comm and I prefer to be able to read and navigate and post here without stress than to be able to see pretty colors.

And is everyone fine with the black background for the OP area?
I prefer white or lighter colors.

I view all LJ sites in my personal journal style, so I get the standard link colors and don't ever need to worry about other people's font and background color schemes or the new comment format or any of that stuff. You might consider it.

Is there any reason why you link to the pages and not to the comments themselves?
It took some time even for me who frequent here to find the right comment in the page you linked, so it may be harder for someone new. Right-clicking "link" and copying the URL seems to be just as easy as copy-pasting the address in the URL box but is this how it's been done for the news posts? Usually I read all the comments before a new post is made so I had't really tried clicking a lot of links in an OP before this and so I don't know.

For this post, "#3 on HMV" caught my eye and so I started to see where you linked the items I'm familiar with, and ended up asking you to fix so many. I'll be grateful if you could fix them. Thank you so much for your hard work and for your time spent for making this post.

Kurt Browning skated to Adam's Feeling Good on January 7, 8, 9, and 15 in Japan for Stars on Ice Japan Tour 2012 Osaka and Tokyo.

TV Tokyo aired SOI Japan 2012 on January 15 but it was from January 14 show, the only date in Japan Kurt skated to I'm Yours instead of Feeling Good.

BS Japan will also air the show on February 7 so there's still a slight chance we get to watch Kurt's FG on TV, but probably not.
