HOW THIS WILL WORK
CANADIANS:
1) Use this link: http://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/sleepwalker/id338840830?i=338840932 (non-deluxe album version)
2) If you are able to gift: Start a comment thread stating how many copies of Sleepwalker you are able to gift. Request CANADIAN iTunes emails (please note: if the person is not Canadian, iTunes will not let you gift them, but you can still gift in ~spirit only by just purchasing the song and "dedicating" your purchase to someone :3)
3) If you are not able to gift: Request to be gifted by someone (i.e. me :p). Reply to a gifter's thread, and give them your iTunes Canada email (this can be done privately if you would rather not post your email on a public forum).
NON-CANADIANS
First of all, thank you for helping out with this ~cause. :D Even though you don't have an iTunes Canada account, you can still help!
1) You can donate money so a Canadian can buy the single on your behalf. For example, you can paypal multiples of $1.29 (cost of one single) to your favourite Canadian. If you want to use me (obvs, I am your favourite), my paypal email is andrea.doolan @ utoronto.ca (take out the spaces)
2) Or you can still request the song be gifted to you, but it will be in spirit only. Basically, a nice Canadian will be buying the song for you on your behalf. :) iTunes will not let a gift pass country lines, for whatever reason. Please reply to one of the comment threads started by a gifter.
TL;DR LOL: JUST BUY SLEEPWALKER ON ITUNES CANADA. BUY MULTIPLY COPIES. BUY ONE FOR YOUR DOG. WHATEVER. JUST BUY IT. :P
OUR GOAL: I'm hoping to /maybe/ get Sleepwalker to chart on the Canadian Hot 100, even if it's #100. And also to be in the top 100 of iTunes (overall or Pop), at least for a little while. :) But if nothing happens, oh well, at least we tried! Yay! :D
